Designed to bring you the very best Galapagos has to offer---you will delight as you explore a gorgeous white-sand beaches normally reserved as the private havens of marine iguanas, silently kayak along giant mangrove lined secluded bays observing brown pelicans and golden rays at home, make a splash jumping into the water to snorkel with ever playful sea lion pups, and investigate the mysterious crashing sound in a prehistoric forests making it easy to imagine the presence of dinosaurs only to discover yourself amid hundreds of giant tortoises. Each day will bring you new opportunities only possible in this one of a kind setting. Photography buffs will revel in capturing close-ups of the red balloon like pouches of a frigate bird and the brilliant blue feet of a dancing booby.

This one-week escape is perfect either as a vacation on its own or part of a larger program. Starting from your arrival we get you out there and keep you engaged. An alternative to a typical cruise, you’ll benefit from time on shore, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, and viewing wildlife. Cruises provide you with 2 to 4 hours a day ashore exploring the islands, while the rest of your time is “cruising” and your night navigating. Our navigations are by speed boat to whisk you to the next adventure. At the day’s end relax enjoy a comfortable bed, hot shower and good meal and perhaps even explore some ‘Galapagos Nightlife’ or just a stroll along the sea.

Itinerary

Day 1  Arrive Ecuador
Fly to Guayaquil Ecuador upon arrival transfer to your hotel for the night (hotel)
Day 2 Travel to Galapagos and Visit Highlands of Santa Cruz and Bay Tour
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to the Galapagos.  Arriving in Galapagos begin with your transfer to the island of Santa Cruz.  Our first stop is to a scenic hike to view a variety of birds and giant Galapagos Tortoises.  We continue our exploration underground as we explore the twisty mile long lava tubes. In the afternoon we explore Academy Bay and perfect our sea lion rolls as we snorkel with these fun loving creatures. (B, L, D...hotel)

Day 3 Floreana: Snorkeling and Kayaking
Known as one of the best dive and snorkel spots in Galapagos our visit to Floreana allows us to snorkel in a virtual fish tank of colorful tropical fish, play and play with sea lion pups!  We kayak around the island viewing nesting boobies and frigate birds and finish our day with evening transfer to the island of Isabela for the night.  (B, L, D...hotel)
Day 4 Isabela: Volcano Hike and Wildlife Walk
Hike to Sierra Negra Volcano.  The Sierra Negra Crater is the largest volcanic crater and one of the most active volcanoes in the world (the last eruption was in 2005).  The journey to Sierra Negra provides us with a variety of birds not seen near the coast as well as some breath taking views of the islands and their dramatic origin.  We return to coast and take a stroll along the brackish lagoons viewing a variety of flamingos, whimbrels and other birds.  (B, L, D...hotel)
Day 5 Isabela: Snorkeling and Wildlife Walk
We journey to the southern portion of the island for a one of a kind snorkeling experience at Los Tunneles where we snorkel with sea turtles, chocolate chip starfish, lobsters and a variety of colorful fish.  We finish our exploration of Isabela with a short hike to explore the islets known as Los Tintorares where we view piles of marine iguanas, penguins, pelicans, boobies, sea lions and sleeping white tip reef sharks. Evening return to Santa Cruz.  (B, L, D...hotel)
Day 6 Santa Cruz: Las Griatas, Darwin Station, Tortuga Bay Beach Snorkeling Tour and Kayaking
Morning visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station followed by a hike to the pristine beaches of Tortuga Bay where we view marine iguanas swimming in the surf, ghost crabs, and plenty of birds.  We have the opportunity to swim, snorkel, kayak or optional surfing at Tortuga Bay.   (B, L, D...hotel)
Day 7 Galapagos Departure and Return to Guayaquil
We complete our Galapagos visits by a morning excursion to Los Gemelos to view lava craters and yellow warblers, vermillion flycatchers, owls and birdlife.  We then continue on to the airport for our flight back to Guayaquil.  Arrive Guayaquil and transfer to hotel for the night.  (B, L, D...hotel)
