JOURNEY I (Anahi)

Journey I also known as Anahi - like her sister ship the Journey II is a spacious, first-class catamaran.  Built in Guayaquil in 2006, specifically for the needs of Galapagos travelers.  Passengers will be delighted by the ample deck space and large interior spaces.

The 16 passengers aboard enjoy the high standards of luxury and comfort.  There are six twin cabins measuring 151 square feet (14m2) each located on the main deck plus two suites on the upper deck with matrimonial beds measuring a comfortable 193 square feet (18m2).  All of the cabins have large picture windows, closets, dressers, and private facilities with showers and hot and cold water.

There is plenty of common space on board to socialize with other passengers, relax, and enjoy the scenery.  The sun and shade deck on the upper level provide the perfect spot to enjoy an al fresco meal or a cocktail at the outdoor bar.  There is also a small Jacuzzi for relaxing at the end of your day. Up top there is a spacious sun deck with recliner loungers that offers you a great place to lay back while still witnessing the wonders of the Galapagos. 

The interior spaces include a large dinning room with beautiful ocean views.  The main salon with it's banquette sectional, TV and DVD player make it the ideal spot meet on board.

• Smoother Ride & Stability : the Journey I is a catamaran by design it offers a smoother ride in rough water due to the hull design and the construction's parachute effect as the boat crosscuts the waves. Air trapped between the hulls cushions the impact of re-entry.  Load levels on a catamaran can be up to 20% greater than a similar sized single hull boats providing you with a more comfortable cruise.

• More deck space: The Journey I's design makes it wider and offers larger deck space and cabins than other boats her size.  All this was done with passenger comfort in mind.
