The Galapagos Odyssey features large public areas including a spacious main salon, bar, well stocked library, indoor dining area and shaded al fresco dining area, an outdoor bar, a shade deck, and a sun deck with outdoor Jacuzzi and comfortable loungers.
Each meal on board is a celebration of the taste buds, our chef will prepare the finest international and local dishes using fresh ingredients of the highest quality. All meals include choices of meat, poultry, and seafood. We also have options for vegetarians and individuals with other dietary choices and needs. Salads are freshly tossed and fresh fruit is always available.
10 Cabins for passengers, all with lower berths. Four twin cabins are located on the upper deck, two twin cabins and two matrimonial cabins are located on the main deck. Two additional cabins are matrimonial/single cabins located on the lower deck and can be made available for tour leaders and/or single passengers. All cabins have private facilities, individually controlled air conditioning, a small desk and sofa. All the 8 main and upper deck cabins feature large windows which can be individually opened.
Amenities on board include a Jacuzzi, Al Fresco dining area, spa service, spacious sun and shade decks, combined with elegant interiors and a cabin layout that allows for picture windows that can be opened for fresh air flow.
The Galapagos Odyssey is outfitted for private charters or individual passengers on naturalist cruises of either 3 nights, 4 nights or 7 nights. All cruises include snorkeling and hiking.
The Galapagos Odyssey abides under all international standards of safety for a ship of its type. One 48 miles Radar; Echo sounder; GPS; One VHF radio; Epirb; Magnetic compass; 2 Rigid life rafts for 15 passengers each; 30 SOLAS life jackets; fire & smoke detectors; CO2 bank for kitchen and engine room 2 Zodiac rafts for 10 persons each. Safety equipment complies with international Coast Guard regulations.
